Santa’s New Sleigh flies in Horsham!

Brad Fitt’s super Christmas play Santa’s New Sleigh was a hit with kids and families at the Capitol Theatre in Horsham in December.  Produced and directed by Sam Bradshaw.

Sam managed to beat the lockdown and the show ran for a full ten days to enthusiastic audiences (all socially distanced and mask-wearing).  Instead of yelling out to the characters, the children were encouraged to stamp their feet in appreciation.  And boy! Did they stamp!

The bossy elf Dibs was played by Katherine Glover who started the show with a rousing song: “Here We Are in Santa’s Worskhop!” You can watch her performance HERE.

Then she managed to wake up her co-worker, Sprocket, played by Roman Armstrong. Together they just about managed to build the new sleigh for Santa, singing and dancing while they worked. You can watch them HERE

Santa (also played by Roman Armstrong) duly arrived and was very pleased with his new sleigh.  He and Dibs closed the show with a final song. Watch them HERE

It was lovely to see a show this good in such tough times.  Sam Bradshaw and his team are to be congratulated for the achievement. We here at Pantomime Songs Ltd. are delighted to provide the songs and music for such a talented cast!.

Great plans for next Christmas, too: watch this space!
